You bid each job differently. Sure, there are similarities, but each project and each client is unique and so you must discuss their needs and let them know what can be done. You should expect the same from your insurance agent. This may seem pretty basic since it’s what you do every time on every job. But would it surprise you to know that most agencies don’t do the same with your insurance? The disappointing thing is most agencies only offer to shop renewals for their largest and most high-paying clients. If you are not a huge corporation, your policy is probably just rubber stamped and sent to you with a bill. Of course, this isn’t good for you and if your operations have changed it could be really bad for your business.
